    I was in America last summer for 3 months and when I missed my friends and family I listened to this, it made me sad but happy at the same time thinking about everyone back home. Best summer of my life though,great memories!

    This song expresses the way I would have liked for life to turn out.
    Having lost my father, that was not to be. But this helps me to imagine.

    my dad grew up in australia, untill he got married, had me, then moved to england. we’ve been here for 14 years. we’ve been back to see his family 4 times.

    he goes very quiet when i play this song, it speaks to him.
    it speaks to me too, i miss my family over there, and the country itself, the landscapes around my grans farm are stunning :’(

    @cg5686 It amazing, I agree. People see Tim as a comedian first, then usually a really smart person (lyrics, diction) but people should hear his playing. It’s AMAZING. I’m so glad someone else said this :)

    I recently discovered Tim (thank you youTube), and while I often find him hilarious, he is an astonishingly good pianist, singer, and songwriter. I dare anyone to watch this video and not feel some stirring of emotion. This… this is an amazing song and what music should be about.
