#1 Dominari:Wine with Tony – California winery tours

Jurgen and Marie Schutz started growing grapes in 1992 in the Atlas Peak Mountains of Napa for Dominari, which means superior in Latin. The vineyards are located 500 meters above sea level and all the grapes are hand harvested. The Schutzs strive to create the highest quality wine by keeping grape production down to two tons per acre. Marie met with me in their wine tasting room, the newest in Napa, before it was opened to the public.
